Following her recent success at the MTV Video Music Awards - where she scooped up three Moon Men - and the successful release of her latest single, "Womanizer," the reinvention of Britney Spears will be aired, documentary-style, on MTV in November.
"I sit there and I'll look back and I'm like: I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?" she says in a clip from the sneak-peek.
In the 90-minute film, whose working title is For the Record, Spears opens up about her tumultuous recent history. "I've been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there's a lot that people don't know," she says.
The documentary looks forward to Britney's much-anticipated second try at a comeback. And although she's been through some rough stuff, Britney says, "It never stopped being fun for me."
MTV will air the documentary on November 30. Britney's forthcoming album, Circus, is slated to hit stores two days later, December 2, her 27th birthday.
